We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the DMCA and comparable laws.

Reporting infringement

Send our Designated Agent a written notice with: your signature; identification of the work; identification of the infringing material and where to find it; your contact information; a good-faith-belief statement; and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

Our response

On a valid notice we remove or disable the material and notify the member who posted it. We terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice with your signature; identification of the material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief of mistake/misidentification; your contact information; and consent to jurisdiction. We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the complainant files suit.

Misuse

Material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice may create liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).
